Brian Connors
Brian is experienced in real estate law, construction defect litigation, legal malpractice and trusts and estates litigation. He has represented hundreds of clients in trial, on appeal, and in alternative dispute proceedings. For the past 25 years, Brian’s practice has concentrated on trusts and estates litigation, probate and trust administration and real estate litigation. These three areas of practice are often interconnected. During this time he has represented clients in dozens of mediations and other alternative dispute proceedings and as result he has developed a keen understanding of what cases are amenable to resolution (sometimes you just have to go to trial), when to initiate dispute resolution and how to achieve resolution between the parties to a dispute.

Susan Shors
Susan practiced state and federal litigation of appeals and writs for 30 years. Since 2014, Susan has studied and practiced various methods of alternative dispute resolution in San Francisco, including disputes between family members, tenants, neighbors, coworkers and homeowner association members as well as disputes among members of the community and between civilians and the police. Using this background, she is currently involved in creating customized and flexible approaches applicable to a broad spectrum of disputes, utilizing traditional legal practices (caucusing), innovations drawn from collaborative practice models (utilizing financial or mental health experts), and transformative face-to-face techniques. This flexible approach allows for the alternative dispute resolution process to be tailored to the needs and desires of the parties involved.
